Roses
-
It's petals are lovely like velvet crushed
Deep red silken wonder of unfolding
Crimson to the seer's touch like blood's breath
Striking curiosity into love
Wild, growing, perceiving earth within sky
Thorns protect your naked form of beauty
Softness hidden like sacred truth beheld
Color so rich that sound is jealous
Fabric full of life, contemplating stars
Roots forge under soil forever alive.
