This was another writing exercise from poetry class awhile back. -"Villanelle" format. We had to follow a specific line, rhyme, and alternating repeating verse pattern. Fun to stretch in a new way! -Some of the wording that had to rhyme in a "Vilanelle" felt a bit cheesy, but all for the sake of the exercise, haha. ---(My favorite feedback from this poem: "Wow, that made me not hung over for a second...")

I drift into other worlds

Swaying past senses and sight
Dancing through foreign galaxies

Unknowing is peace, alright
Swirling with new planets

Clouds release their shape align

Journey to the other side
Every step a mystery
