Remember

I was a child when we met.
We use to paint, and play, and run wild through the woods.
I'd laugh as You chased me..
We always found each other in secret places.
You showed me the rainbow, and how to smell the rain.
You taught me to dream, and to fly through the starry night sky.
We rode imaginary horses everywhere..
You whispered to my heart with flowers and seashells.
I remember.

I remember when you pulled me from the waves.

When the nails went deep, through our hands clasped together.
You looked straight into my eyes;
as our two streams of blood, became one heart forever.

I remember standing in the ocean, as we exchanged eternal promise.
Sunlight dripping from the water,
captured in one endless breath of love.

Our heartbeats collide, and continually intertwine
I cant imagine a moment, when Your Spirit wasn't in mine
You never left me.

Our song is one rhythm, singing a thousand different melodies.
Standing gaze to steadfast gaze.
